April Kay self-published her young adult urban fantasy series starting in 2018, and since then, she's learned a lot of things--especially about what she likes to write. She will soon start publishing adult romance under the same name, though stories will include appropriate warnings.
She currently lives in Maryland with her other half and their two cats.
She is an avid fan of Stephen King, and some of her other favorite authors include Leigh Bardugo, George R. R. Martin, Bree Despain, Ruby Dixon, and Katee Robert.
She is open and vocal about being on the autism spectrum in the hopes that it encourages other autistic people to follow their dreams--and also to inform others that autism knows no gender or age. It can affect anyone, and it is not something to be ashamed of.
